The Continuing Competency Committee (CCC) is tasked with administering the APEGM Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program. The CCC reviews applications for abatement and makes recommendations regarding acceptability and classification of professional development hours (PDH). The committee also reviews applications for the resumption of unrestricted practice of retired and abated members.
The CCC is considered a committee of Council. All CCC members must be approved by Council and is made up of no less than 9 professional members, of whom at least one will be a professional geoscientist and at least one is a member of Council. See the CCC Terms of Reference.
