The Experience Review Committee (ERC) is responsible for verifying the progress of Manitoba's Engineers-In-Training and Geoscientists-In-Training by reviewing Progress Reports completed by them and their supervisors.
The Experience Review Committee is considered a committee of Council and as such, must implement policy as set by Council, through the Manual of Admissions. All ERC members must be approved by Council.
The ERC is made up of registered professionals from all engineering and geoscience disciplines, who meet once a month to review files, typically in the middle of the month. Following is a list of tentative ERC Meeting dates, subject to change without notice:
After each ERC meeting, they will send feedback to MITs whose reports were reviewed indicating the number of months experience credited towards their Pre-Registration program requirements. The ERC prepares this information for review by the Registration Committee (RC) prior to Registration. Please note that supervisor reports must be received at least two weeks prior to the meeting date in order to be considered.
