To have any 'late' months count towards your experience requirements, you must pay the Late Reporting Fee for each month you wish to count. Otherwise, your number of unpaid 'late' months will get added to your program requirements. You may pay off 'late' months with new 'Regular' months, or with the 'late fee' at any time. This fee does not apply to people who have just completed the Assessment Process, provided they enrol promptly as an MIT.
If your reports have late time on them, you will be notified after the Experience Review Committee has met to review your report. Please do not submit payment prior to receipt of the invoice. You will be required to complete a late payment form.
You can claim any amount of experience earned before you enrolled on the pre-registration program. To count these months you must pay the Pre-Enrollment Fee for each month. This fee does not apply to people who have just completed the Assessment Process, provided they enrol promptly as an MIT. You may claim up to 12 months experience earned before your date of academic qualification, but must pay the Pre-Grad Fee to count any of it. Active Student Members may submit Pre-Grad time and have it count for FREE if they maintain their membership until it is counted. This experience may be claimed any time while enrolled in the MIT Program.
To claim for Pre-Graduation time while on the MIT program please complete the pre-grad time application form and submit along with your report.
