Making Links Engineering Classic 2008

The APEGM Sports Committee, in association with the Faculty of Engineering, University of Manitoba, presents the 5th annual Making Links Engineering Classic. The golf tournament will provide APEGM members and their guests with an enjoyable golf outing and an opportunity to network with fellow professionals, while supporting the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Manitoba.

Many of you will look back fondly on old Room 229 as the home base in your engineering education. We sincerely hope that, in the Spirit of Room 229, you will participate in MLEC 2008 and help raise money for the APEGM Design Studio in Room 229 of the new Engineering and Inforamtion Technology Complex (EITC). Here, through personal involvement, the students will learn about engineering practice and grow in readiness for it.

How to Enter: Entries are limited to the first 220 paid golfers (no entries accepted without full payment). Drop off or mail entries and payment to the APEGM office by 4:00pm on Friday, May 16, 2008. Early Bird Prize All tournament entries recieved by April 18, 2008 will be entered to win the Early Bird Prize (estimated value of $750).

Dress code in effect A collar and sleeves are required. Tailored shorts only. Metal spikes are not allowed.

Sponsorship opportunities Prize donations will be gratefully accepted for the competitions!
Hole/contest sponsorships are available for $300 per hole/contest.
