The Registration Committee (RC) reviews all applications to APEGM. This includes MITs, assessment applicants, reinstatement applicants, inter-association mobility applicants, and temporary licensees. In most instances, detailed analysis of an applicant's file takes place at the Academic Review or the Experience Review level (or both).
The Registration Committee is considered a committee of Council and as such, must implement policy as set by Council, through the Manual of Admissions. All RC members must be approved by Council. Appeals from the Experience Review Committee (ERC) and the Academic Review Committee (ARC) are heard by the Registration Committee. The Registration Committee is made up of eight members of various disciplines, plus at least one appointed lay member.
The Registration Committee meets monthly, typically on the last Wednesday of every month. Note that all documentation must be received at least two weeks prior to the meeting date in order to be considered. Following is a list of tentative RC Meeting dates, subject to change without notice:
The Registration Coordinator provides secretariat to the Registration Committee and receives all applications bound for the Registration Committee. Files are sent to Registration Committee reviewers typically two weeks prior to each meeting. Contact the Registration Coordinator to find out the cut-off date for the next meeting.
