BRACE Course Recordings Now Available Online
Three 90-minute courses which explore climate change resilience in infrastructure, hosted by the Association as part of the Building Regional Adaptation Capacity and Expertise (BRACE) program, are now available to view online. The Spring Issue of the Association's quarterly magazine, The Keystone Professional, is now available to view online. Practitioners who have opted to receive a physical copy will receive them in the mail shortly.
Ingenium 2022 Call for Abstracts
The Association welcomes abstracts for presentations on any topic related to engineering and geoscience and the professionals who practise in those fields, for consideration for inclusion in its annual conference, Ingenium, which will be held virtually in October 2022. Role of Validators in the CBA System - March 24, 2022
The Association has improved its registration process to provide a more equitable, transparent, consistent, and efficient process for applicants. Validators play a key role in competency-based assessments and would benefit from learning the updated process in the steps towards professional registration. This session is for supervisors or managers who will be validating applicants' work and would like to learn more about their roles in the new CBA system. Join Association staff and Charles Tremblay from Notarius for this virtual lunch 'n' learn session exploring the key ingredients to ensure electronic document reliability from a legal perspective, the different signature technologies available on the market and the varying levels of reliability of each. Attendees will also learn what is specific about EngGeoMB's digital signature certificates, its benefits, and how it is used to authenticate professional work products in accordance with EngGeoMB Guidelines for Use of Professional Seal.
