Manitoba Climate Resilience Training Program (MCRT Infrastructure 2.0) Delivers 15 Course Sessions to 848 Attendees in 2023
On November 28, 2022, the Association and the Manitoba Government signed a Conservation and Climate Fund grant agreement for the Association to provide engineers, geoscientists, and other infrastructure professionals and decision-makers with advanced knowledge and skills in climate change adaptation and mitigation. Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba Family Legacy Bursary Draw
EngGeoMB is now accepting applications for the 2023 Family Legacy Bursary Draw. Five bursary prizes are given to the children of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba members. Applicants must be enrolled full time in first-year engineering or geoscience studies. The application deadline is September 1, 2023. For eligibility criteria and how to apply, please see the application form.

Equity in Professional Regulation: Consultation Sessions - July 2023
In July, the Association is hosting 90-minute consultation sessions to explore and prioritize actions that can be taken to ensure the expectation for respect and equitable access to opportunity is upheld. These sessions include an Able-bodied, Heterosexual, White Man Consultation Session on July 10, 2023, and July 17, 2023, and a 2SLGBTQQIA+ Consultation Session on July 12, 2023. Electronic Document Authentication and Sealing Guidelines for Licensed Professionals - August 29, 2023
In this presentation, Notarius will present the different electronic signature solutions available on the market and the different levels of reliability of each. Finally, they will present EngGeoMB requirements for electronic documentation and sealing to ensure high level of legal reliability for professional documents.
