Mentor/Protegee Orientation - 2023/2024 Women in Engineering and Geoscience Mentorship Program - September 15, 2023
Learn more about the Women in Engineering and Geoscience Mentorship Program at this orientation session for mentors (professional engineers and professional geoscientists) and protegee (interns) who are interested in joining the 2023-2024 program. EngGeoMB Social Hour - September 28, 2023
The Sports and Social Committee is pleased to announce the new EngGeoMB Social Hour, a quarterly in-person event for registrants of the Association to meet one another in a casual setting. This first event in September will feature drinks and snacks at the Association office in Winnipeg, and is open to all registrants of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba. Tickets are complimentary but spaces are limited, so register via our event listing if you would like to attend!

CSSE: Not Getting to Zero - Canada's Misdirected and Woeful Performance on Emission Reductions - September 28, 2023
The Manitoba Chapter of the Canadian Society of Senior Engineers (CSSE) invites you to attend their next session, where Dr. Robert Parsons of the University of Manitoba Asper School of Business will present on a topic significant to all Manitobans. This event is being offered in-person at the Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba office at 870 Pembina Highway, where lunch will be provided for $18 per person. UVic: Truth and (Re)conciliation Lecture Series - October 2023 - June 2024
Truth and reconciliation is a top priority for the for Canadians and Indigenous Peoples. Engineers have a role to play in truth and reconciliation and as such, it is important to understand the true state of communities and what it is like to be an Indigenous person within Canada. This lecture includes learning how to write land acknowledgements, how to deliver Elder / Knowledge Keeper protocol, and more.
