Last Chance For 2023 Ingenium On-Demand Library
The Ingenium On-Demand Library, featuring all of the live and exclusively recorded sessions from Ingenium 2023 is available until February 9, 2024. Those who registered for Ingenium can use their email address to access the On-Demand Library at any time. If you missed out, it's not too late: Ingenium registration closes next Friday, January 26, 2024, and you'll get instant access to the On-Demand Library. Decision on Penalty - Mohamed I. Matar, P.Eng.

Volunteer Opportunities
Future City Competition - Multiple Volunteers Needed
The Future City Competition challenges students in grades 6, 7, and 8 across Canada to use the engineering design process to research, design, and build a model of city 100 years into the future. The 2024 theme is Climate Change, where teams will design a city adapted to the impacts of climate change. Volunteers are needed to serve as role models/mentors, as well as answer any questions and provide advice as students work through their build. CofA Insurance Requirements Engagement Sessions - January 22 or January 23, 2024
Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba's Council is reviewing the amounts, terms, and conditions of professional liability insurance coverage required when offering engineering or geoscientific activities to the public. The current policy was established 20 years ago and there are indications that an update is required. Two sessions are being held to engage stakeholders on this topic: One on January 22, 2024, and one on January 23, 2024. Anyone who has feedback on this topic is welcome to attend.

Anti-Racism Training - January 23, 2024
Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba invites you to join this two-hour online anti-racism training facilitated by Rainbow Diversity Institute, which is offered at the subsidized registration fee of $45 plus GST. Participants will explore racial power structures, racial hierarchies, and the role of colonialism in racism in the past and present. Dealing with Microaggression and Conflict in the Workplace - January 24, 2024
Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba invites members to join this exclusive three-hour training session on dealing with microaggression and conflict in the workplace, presented by certified mediators Delia Joseph and Karen Ridd.
