2025 Renewal Deadline Approaching
The 2025 deadline for the renewal period for Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba is Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Log in to your online profile to view your 2025 renewal notice and to renew online. Further information about the renewal process can be found on our website.

Join the 2025 Circular Mentorship Program - Registration Deadline: Sunday, December 15, 2024
The 2025 Circular Mentorship Program is a year-long program that unites practitioners in engineering and geoscience professions and build trusting relationships among less experienced and more-experienced members together, to offer guidance, support, and encouragement aimed at developing the competence and character. Volunteer Opportunities
Canadian Engineering Qualifications Board
The Canadian Engineering Qualifications Board (CEQB) is seeking a representative from Manitoba to bring their unique perspective and expertise to its national committee. As a standing committee under the Engineers Canada Board, the CEQB plays a crucial role in developing national guidelines, Engineers Canada papers, and examination syllabi to support the assessment of engineering qualifications and to promote excellence in the practice and regulation of the profession. The board is looking for professional engineer to serve as a representative for a three-year term who has a keen interest in issues surrounding engineering qualifications and/or practice (e.g. assessment of applicants, ethics, and sustainability). Engineering and Technology (CTTAM) Joint Board
The Engineering and Technology (CTTAM) Joint Board's function is to maintain a good professional relationship between the Certified Technicians and Technologists Association of Manitoba (CTTAM) and Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba, including; developing and recommending processes for co-operation by the two associations in carrying out their respective areas of responsibility in the public interest, making joint representations to third parties on matters affecting the two associations, and resolution of issues or disputes respecting areas of practice. The board is looking for practicing members that can identify any possible issues for discussion and provide vision and guidance for engineering and technology going forward. Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee is a committee of Council, which assists in identifying election candidates who meet the criteria for new councillors as described in the Governance Policy for Councillor Roles and Job Description. The Nominating Committee is looking for one professional geoscientist (P.Geo.) to join the committee for a one-year term. For more information, please see the full call for volunteers.

Investigation Committee
The Investigation Committee is a committee of Council and is made up of registered professionals from all disciplines, who review complaints made about the conduct of members in a timely manner and makes recommendations for discipline based on the severity of the offense. The committee also provides guidance to membership on standards of professional practice. The committee is currently looking for a professional geoscientist (P.Geo.) to join the committee.
