Council Election Results for 2019

The 2019 Council election was the ninth to be conducted online. A total of 945 out of 6954 eligible Members casting at least one ballot (13.6%), and 234 out of 1730 eligible Interns casting a ballot (13.5%) in 2019. There were no paper ballot packages requested or received.

There were 234 ballots submitted to elect the following Intern councillor for a two year term:

There were 881 ballots submitted regarding the proposed By-law changes.

Result: PASS (For: 657, Against: 89, Abstain: 135)

E-mail reminders were sent out on September 26, 30, and October 3, 7, 9, and 10th. Council ballots closed at midnight on the 9th, By-law ballot closed at midnight on the 10th.
