The Professional Practice Test (PPT) is a True and False style quiz on engineering and geoscience in Manitoba. It covers the Act, Bylaws, and Code of Ethics of APEGM. It is submitted by all new applicants to APEGM. In certain cases, people who are reinstating or reverting their status back to practising may be required to (re)write the PPT.
The PPT is an open book test that should be written on your own and not shared with others. You can request a copy of the PPT by contacting the APEGM Administrative Assistant or Registration Coordinator.
Student Members who have written the PPT through APEGM and scored 90% or more, can keep their score if they remain student members until they apply for the Pre-registration program. However, if they break their membership, their score will lapse and they will have to write it again when they re-apply.
