Council Election Results for 2023

The 2023 Council election was the thirteenth to be conducted online. There were 6689 eligible members who had access to vote during the period, and 989 of them participated (14.8%). There were 2612 eligible interns, with 377 intern ballots received (14.4%). There were no paper ballot packages requested or received.

By-law Proposals and Petitions

There were 885 ballots submitted (13.2%) regarding the proposed By-law changes.

Omnibus Proposal to support the recent Act Changes
Result: PASS (For: 691, Against: 55, Abstain: 139)

E-mail reminders were sent out on September 28, and October 3, 6, 11, and 13. Both Council and By-law ballots closed at Noon on October 13, 2023.
