Council Election Results for 2026

The 2026 Council election was the sixteenth to be conducted online. There were 7347 eligible members who had access to vote during the period, and 923 (12.6%) of them submitted a ballot for P.Eng. There were no paper ballot packages requested or received.

The following professional engineers were elected for two year terms:

• Ellery Burton, P.Eng.
• Harmeet Gill, P.Eng.
• Lisa Thomson, P.Eng.

P.Geo.

The following professional geoscientist was elected by acclamation for a two year term:

• Julia Singh, P.Geo.

By-law Proposals and Petitions

There were 729 ballots submitted (9.9%) regarding the proposed By-law changes.

E-mail reminders were sent out on October 1, 5, 13, 15, and 16. Both Council and By-law ballots closed at Noon on October 16, 2026.
