Since the Province of Manitoba covers such a large geographical area, APEGM has defined regional boundaries to allow isolated groups of professionals to come together for special events and advocate their regional voices.
Most of the members of the Westman Chapter live and/or work in southwestern Manitoba. The Chapter was formally constituted on November 17, 1993, when the Chapter Constitution was signed by the then President of APEGM, Doug Chapman. The Westman Constitution was revised March 31, 1999. Under the Constitution, the Chapter has an executive committee comprising a Chair, a Vice-Chair, a Secretary/Treasurer, and four members-at-large.
The Chapter membership may comprise practising professional engineers and geoscientists, members-in-training enrolled with APEGM and lay members as identified in the by-laws of the Chapter. For purposes of membership, the boundaries of the Chapter generally coincide with the areas included in postal codes R0J, R0K, R0M, R7A, R7B, and R7C.
The Chapter sponsors a number of special events every year. Check this site periodically for notices and dates of upcoming events in southwestern Manitoba. As is the case for the members of the Kelsey Chapter, the members of the Thompson Chapter live and/or work north of the 53rd parallel in Manitoba, but not including the Flin Flon, Cranberry Portage and The Pas areas which are served by the Kelsey Chapter. The Thompson Chapter was formally constituted on September 30, 1993, when the Chapter Thompson Constitution was signed by the then President of APEGM, Carl Anderson, P.Eng., and the Chair of the Chapter, Ian Farr, P.Eng. The Chapter has an executive committee comprising a Chair, a Vice-Chair, a Secretary/Treasurer, and two members-at-large.

The Chapter was formally constituted on January 27, 2000, when the Chapter Pembina Constitution was signed by the President of APEGM, John Hosang, P.Eng., and the Chair of the Chapter, Ron Vandervees. The Chapter has an executive committee comprising a Chair, a Vice-Chair, a Secretary/Treasurer, and two members-at-large.
The Chapter membership may comprise practising professional engineers and geoscientists, members-in-training enrolled with APEGM and lay members as identified in the by-laws of the Chapter. For purposes of membership, the boundaries of the Chapter are those portions of Rural Municipalities of Louise, Pembina, Stanley, Rhineland, Montcalm, Morris, Roland, Thompson, Lorne, Dufferin, South Norfolk, Dufferin, Grey, and MacDonald within a 70 kilometer radius of the intersection of P.T.H. 3 and P.T.H. 14. These boundaries generally coincide with the areas included in postal codes R0G, R6M, and R6M.
